The key to success in meditation is, you guessed it, practice. As with anything worth doing and beneficial to our mind, body and spirit, meditation improves and deepens over time. Rarely are any two meditations exactly the same nor do you want them to be. The more your meditate you are creating this ritual that will automatically bring a peacefulness and sense of overall well being to your entire self. You will find that this feeling will extend beyond the time you are actually in meditation to all areas of your life. Less stress means better sleep, more patience, more joy in your life.
It has been proven that only 15 minutes of meditation can benefit the body in the same way as 3 hours of deep sleep! We all can spare 15 minutes of the day for our own well being. If you don’t feel you can spare 15 minutes then you really need to do this twice a day! Any habit we are trying to create or eliminate takes on average 21 days to take effect. Allow yourself this time to get into the meditation habit, you will not regret it.
