Healing Circle Gathering

In person gatherings are back!  Join us every Monday afternoon from 2pm – 3:30 pm for a time of fellowship, meditation, learning and sharing.  We come together in a safe and sacred space to ask questions, share our experiences, all without judgment.  This is a place where we laugh, and even cry together.

These gatherings will be aimed at increasing your meditation practice, learn about other spiritual practices, ritual, increasing your intuition, energy light work and so much more.  If you have been missing coming together with your “tribe”, looking for one, or simply want a safe place where you can speak your truth or discover it, Healing Circle Gathering is for you.  All are welcome! The only thing that is asked is that we all respect that each of us in on our own path and journey and to treat each other with respect and compassion. Since many open up their hearts to the group for support, what is said in the group stays here for healing and cleansing. We have often stated that it is a good night when somebody cries!

Each week will be a different topic with a meditation to close the afternoon. All you need to bring is an open heart and mind along with respect for the beliefs of others. In lieu of any fee for this event, we will be collecting items for the local charities and programs throughout the year.

Mindful Meditation for Mental Health

I have had the honour of working in the wellness department with staff and students at Trent University facilitating various workshops on personal growth and meditation. For the last few years I have been the meditation facilitator at Paths of Courage, a retreat for survivors of sexual abuse. As well, I have conducted seminars in various businesses, spas and volunteer groups to help the staff learn the connection between mental health and meditation.

It has been proven that during mediation we can actually release stress from our bodies, alter the gray matter in a positive and healing way.  Why not introduce these techniques to your work environment or organization?  I would love to work with you in your work or learning environment to show you how to introduce the practice of meditation into your daily routine.
