Beyond the Chakra Oracle Card for this week is the Throat Chakra:
What is it you want to say? Before speaking ask yourself these questions:
- Can it be said with out hurting someone?
- Is it true?
- Does it need to be said?
- Are you speaking out of love?
If the answers are yes to all four then proceed to speak with kindness and love. However if even one is no, remain silent and think it over.
Have you ever found yourself blurting out words then later regretting having opened your mouth? Think of the questions above as the gateways that your words need to pass before they are spoken. How often are things said that would have been better left alone as they were being spoken from a place of jealousy, negativity or anger.
Remember, your words and actions are your responsibility. You may have no control over the words spoken or the actions taken by another person but you do have control over how they will affect you. How you respond is all up to you. You may feel the urge to fight back and even hurt someone but in the end it will only add to your own regrets and stored negative emotions.
Now is the time to choose your words wisely. It is also a time to really listen to your Higher Self in order to determine what is true to you at this moment in time. Think before you speak is the order of the day otherwise you may regret the words you spoke. Often volumes can be said in silence.
